On Saturday, we got up early and hit the Bay Breeze Golf Course on base. It was fun, but the high winds made it difficult.

On Sunday, we got up and went for coffee. Again we putzed around the base exchange, and then it the town for shopping. Since we don't know what kind of shopping we will have in Japan, we bought a little bit of everything....literally. Now we just have to find room to pack all of this new stuff!
This next week will hopefully bring us our orders, along with airline tickets and an official date of departure to Japan!!
Nothing new here in CA to report (at least in my neck of the woods). Work is work. No golfing since I still haven't learned how to properly golf on a course. Weather has been nice, but it is getting colder (for us folks living by the beach cities), with possibility of rain next week (the CA rain as you remember it...drops from the sky and we all freak out on the highway).
ReplyDeleteMike and I finally went to Disney California Adventure Park. I survived going on the Tower of Terror (where they drop you down a few floors a few times) and California Screamin' (rollercoaster ride). Lets just say I will not be doing that again any time soon.
And in your honor we had crawfish for dinner afterward.
